Violin, clarinet and sax are the usual chuppah and reception requests; the same player often stays on for the dance sets at an added fee.

What moves the final number

How many musicians are on stage

Pricing is built per person. A keyboard-and-singer chuppah is a different quote from a seven-piece dance-set band, and each added player carries their own fee.

How long you need them

Most fees cover a standard simcha block — reception, chuppah and dancing. Extra hours, a second location or a late-night set are added as separate line items.

Travel and lodging

Anything outside the local radius adds a travel line based on distance zone. Out-of-town simchas may also add lodging for the band.

Date and season

Peak Sunday and legal-holiday dates go first and rarely discount. Midweek and off-season dates are where you find room.

Sound, lighting and extras

PA, monitors, an engineer and dance-floor lighting are priced separately from the musicians, either from the same team or added from the catalog.

Add-ons after booking

A badchan, extra choir boys or a soloist for one dance can be added later — you approve or decline each add-on and its price before it joins the quote.
